Pipeline

The concept of “selling” can be intimidating. So it helps to break the process down into steps.

First, figure out all the necessary precursors to a transaction.

Then, map out a repeatable process that hits all these milestones (also known as a pipeline), and test the process out.

Especially in the beginning, pipelines can be "leaky".

But with each "leak" that gets patched, things become slightly easier the next time.

Then, it’s just a matter of removing the current bottleneck.

It could be a skill deficiency, unnecessary friction, an unaddressed concern, or all manner of other things.

The tactics will vary, but this fundamental process never changes.
